When do you post new items?
We share our newest beads in our weekly LIVE sales before items go to the website. We go LIVE on our Facebook page at the following times each week. Be sure you’re on our email and/or text list to get a reminder when these fun events start!
Mondays at 5pm PT / 8pm ET: Mini LIVE Sale (one hour or less!)
Thursday at 5pm PT / 8pm ET: Happy Hour LIVE Sale (a full evening of new beads, special sales, and sometimes a concert!)
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Paypal and all major credit cards.
How much is shipping?
US orders ship for flat rate $3.99. We ship all orders via USPS each Wednesday to allow our customers to shop our two LIVE sales each week and have orders combined together. Extra shipping charges are refunded as account credit. US Shipments generally take 2-7 days to arrive via USPS.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do! We charge exact shipping costs for international shipments based on the Simple Export Rate. At check-out, Canadian orders are charged $10.95 by default and other countries $3.99 (we are currently unable to make it higher and closer to what it should be). If we are able to ship for less, we will refund you the difference. If further payment is needed, we will send you a request via Paypal. We will hold your order until the Paypal request has been paid.

Where do you ship from?
We ship from our office in Oakland, CA.
We know buying beads online can be hard. We do our best to provide clear photos and accurate descriptions to make it easier. We also include notes as needed on product listings, such as when a bead has imperfections in its cut.
If you are unhappy with an item, send us a message to our Facebook page or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days of item delivery and we will do our best to make it right. We do not accept returns on items where the imperfections for the bead has been stated in the item description.
Waitlist and Restocks
Why do I see items that say Waitlist instead of Add to Cart?
When an item is out of stock, it will show the option to join the waitlist. We base a lot of our restock ordering on these waitlists, so be sure to put your request in so we know to order more. Once an item arrives, the item automatically goes into your cart and you get notified via email. It will expire from your cart in 96 hours if not paid, so please contact us if you need us to extend the cart until you’re ready to place an order.
Do you offer tutorials?
We do! Each Friday at 4pm PT, we go LIVE on our Facebook page with a designer. Be sure you’re on our email and/or text list to know about upcoming classes. To view recordings of past classes, head to the Sam’s Bead Shop Youtube Channel––don't forget to subscribe!
